Staff Nurse - NICU, PICU and Pediatrics

About the role

Kids Care International Hospital (KCIH), a pediatric healthcare provider in Rawalpindi, is looking for experienced Staff Nurses to join its team. The nurse provides care to pediatric patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and general pediatric medicine wards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU and pediatric medicine wards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, and report changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate and support patients' families about their child's condition and care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Follow hospital policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council.
• Experience in NICU, PICU and pediatric medicine.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage critical care situations in a pediatric setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
