Certified Nursing Assistant - Rawalpindi

About the role

The Pakistan Army's medical facilities and hospitals provide healthcare to military personnel, their families and, in some cases, civilian communities. This is a full-time, on-site Certified Nursing Assistant position in Rawalpindi, supporting nursing and medical teams in patient care and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nursing and medical staff with daily patient care, including mobility, personal hygiene and basic comfort measures
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition
• Support clinical procedures as directed by licensed nurses or physicians
• Maintain clean and safe patient areas and ensure infection control practices
• Prepare equipment and supplies and follow established protocols and documentation standards
• Provide respectful, compassionate care and work closely with multidisciplinary teams

Required profile

• Formal certification or training as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent, with knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care
• Ability to help with activities of daily living such as mobility support, personal hygiene, feeding and patient comfort
• Competence in measuring and documenting vital signs and communicating concerns to supervising staff
• Understanding of infection control, hygiene standards and safe handling of equipment and supplies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families and healthcare teams
• Capacity to work in a disciplined, structured environment, including shift work, and to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Physical ability to lift, position and transfer patients safely
• Prior hospital or clinical experience, especially in military or high-demand settings, is an advantage
• Commitment to ethical conduct, patient confidentiality and continuous professional learning

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with medical documentation systems are beneficial
