Strategic Project Lead - PCB & AI Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Project Lead to drive end‑to‑end hardware development for PCB and AI platform projects. Working remotely, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality prototypes and production‑ready designs that meet both technical and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for PCB and embedded system designs.
• Lead collaboration between hardware engineers, firmware developers, mechanical engineers, and external vendors.
• Oversee PCB layout reviews, signal‑integrity analysis, component selection, and manufacturability optimization.
• Define and monitor KPIs, manage risks, and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present technical and business updates to senior leadership and secure necessary resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in PCB design and embedded systems, with a minimum of 3 years in a project‑lead or management role.
• Proven ability to manage complex hardware projects from concept through production.

Required skills

• PCB design tools: Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence Allegro.
• Embedded firmware development in C/C++ and debugging with JTAG or logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of IPC‑2221, IPC‑A‑610, UL certification processes.
• Expertise in signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
• Version control (Git) and documentation tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and supply‑chain coordination.
