Strategy Analyst

About the role

JazzWorld, the digital services platform of Pakistan's largest mobile operator, is hiring a Strategy Analyst (Grade L2) based in Islamabad. You will support the strategy team in developing board and ExCo-level materials, including strategic frameworks, portfolio reviews and offsite pre-reads, and help prepare CEO/CXO presentations for investors, regulators, partners and industry forums. The role uses AI-assisted tools to turn complex analysis into clear narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of board and ExCo materials and build structured, storyboarded presentations
• Prepare polished CEO/CXO presentations for external stakeholders aligned with corporate messaging
• Conduct market, competitor and industry research to inform strategic recommendations
• Track and report on strategic initiatives against priorities such as annual strategic frameworks
• Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, Technology and Regulatory teams to gather inputs and align messaging
• Draft first-cut analysis, decks and briefing notes under senior guidance and look for ways to automate recurring strategy workflows
• Manage timelines and follow-ups for strategy deliverables

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or a related field (MBA a plus); 3+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, corporate planning or a similar analytical role
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to simplify complex information into clear storylines and use storyboarding and visual narrative
• Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable insights and handle confidential, high-stakes work under pressure
• Exposure to telecom, tech or digital services and to board-level or senior stakeholder engagements is desirable

Required skills

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Basic understanding of P&L, KPIs and business cases
• Use of AI and LLM tools for research, drafting and analysis
