Structural Draftsman – Detailed CAD Design

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our team in Rawalpindi. The successful candidate will create precise construction drawings, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans for structures based on engineer and architect specifications.
• Use CAD software to produce accurate and precise drafting outputs.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain organized drawing records and update documentation as needed.
• Assist in coordinating design and construction activities across departments.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman or in a similar drafting role.
• Associate degree in Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification or diploma in computer‑aided drafting and design (CADD) is advantageous.
• Portfolio of previous drafting work is desirable.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and construction industry standards.
