Student Consultant – Education Advisory

About the role

The Student Consultant will guide prospective students through study‑abroad options, admission procedures and scholarship opportunities, focusing on universities in China and other key destinations. This full‑time, on‑site role involves providing accurate information, counseling sessions and continuous support from initial inquiry to pre‑departure preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions to assess student goals and recommend suitable academic pathways.
• Respond to student inquiries via phone, email and social media, providing up‑to‑date information on programs, admissions and visas.
• Prepare, review and submit application documents, coordinating with partner universities and internal teams.
• Maintain detailed student records, track application progress and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Support outreach activities such as informational sessions, presentations and social media updates to promote consultancy services.

Required profile

• Strong counseling and advisory skills with a student‑focused mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Urdu; knowledge of Chinese language or culture is a plus.
• Organizational ability to manage documentation, track multiple applications and keep accurate records.
• Basic understanding of international education systems, admission procedures and visa processes.
• Customer‑service orientation, professionalism and ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Social Sciences or related field; prior experience in student counseling is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using online communication tools and social media platforms for student engagement.
