Switchgear Design, Sales, Testing & R&D Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a versatile engineer to lead the design, sales support, testing, commissioning and R&D of switchgear, motor control centres and PLC/DDC‑based control panels. The position is full‑time and based on‑site at our Korangi Industrial Area facility.

Key responsibilities

• Design switchboards, motor control centres and control panels using CREO, AutoCAD and EPLAN, producing layouts, schematics and full technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the sales team to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and respond to customer inquiries.
• Supervise and perform factory acceptance testing, on‑site testing and commissioning of switchgear and control panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control issues during installation and after hand‑over.
• Participate in R&D projects, evaluate new components and technologies, and improve existing designs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, safety regulations and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience with switchgear, motor control centres and PLC/DDC‑based control panels.
• Hands‑on background in electrical testing, commissioning and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
• Ability to support technical sales activities and work collaboratively with engineering, sales and operations teams.
