System Administrator

About the role

vFairs is seeking a System Administrator to join its fast‑paced, globally distributed IT team. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across Windows, macOS and Linux environments while ensuring the reliability and security of the company’s infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 support for desktop, server, network and VPN issues.
• Manage incidents from detection through root‑cause analysis, documentation and post‑incident review.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (pfSense and enterprise solutions), routing, switching, DNS and DHCP.
• Administer endpoint management with Microsoft Intune and other MDM tools.
• Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix or similar platforms.
• Maintain Windows Server services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, IIS) and Linux servers (Ubuntu/RHEL).
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash or Python and support IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Handle IT asset lifecycle, vendor coordination and documentation of SOPs, runbooks and reports.
• Configure and troubleshoot SMTP email systems, implementing SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering IT support for Windows, macOS and Linux users.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching).
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls, endpoint management and monitoring tools.
• Ability to write and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure‑as‑code configurations.
