System Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated System Support Engineer to deliver end‑user IT helpdesk services and maintain the reliability of our IT infrastructure. The role involves on‑call and on‑site support for a diverse range of devices and technologies, ensuring smooth daily operations for senior management and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑call and on‑site IT helpdesk support to end users.
• Support Apple ecosystem devices, including MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, and iPhones.
• Arrange and manage audio and video conferencing facilities for senior executives.
• Maintain IT inventory, perform asset tagging for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and IP telephony devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware and software.
• Deliver Level 1 support for networking issues and UPS systems.
• Ensure timely Windows and antivirus updates for end‑user systems.
• Be available for 24/7 support as required.
• Assist in IT projects and departmental activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT support and system administration.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Professional, presentable demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving ability.
• Capability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support.
• Hands‑on experience with macOS and iOS devices.
• Basic networking knowledge and Level 1 troubleshooting.
• IT inventory management and asset control.
• Familiarity with UPS systems.
• Experience with audio and video conferencing solutions.
