Tactical Buyer – Kabirwala

About the role

The Tactical Buyer will support Nestlé's local operations in Kabirwala by converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and suppliers, providing timely insights and supporting accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end procurement transactions, ensuring timely and compliant purchase order creation.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to gather requirements and provide regular operational updates.
• Conduct data retrieval, spend analysis, and mapping of Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) channels to identify improvement opportunities.
• Interface with local suppliers for development, operational support, or supplier switch‑out activities as directed.
• Support integration of sourcing plans within budgets and price‑planning cycles.
• Assist innovation, renovation and cost‑improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to Nestlé Supplier Code.

Required profile

• Understanding of procurement or supply‑chain processes.
• Ability to interpret stakeholder needs and deliver transactional support promptly.
• Strong coordination, follow‑up and communication skills for managing multiple stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and process discipline.
• Problem‑solving attitude, ownership mindset and eagerness to learn.
