Tax Manager – Corporate Tax & Compliance

About the role

The company is seeking a detail‑oriented Tax Manager to lead its corporate tax compliance function. The role involves managing income, sales and withholding tax obligations, interacting with the Federal Board of Revenue and ensuring adherence to Pakistani tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual income, sales and withholding tax returns.
• Handle tax notices, audits, assessments and correspondence with the FBR and other authorities.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and implement necessary compliance updates.
• Review tax deductions, withholding obligations and sales‑tax reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation.
• Assist senior management with tax planning and related advisory tasks.

Required profile

• CA Finalist or CA Inter qualification.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in Pakistani taxation, including income, sales and withholding tax.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Pakistan Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act and withholding tax regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the FBR IRIS portal and electronic filing systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience using accounting or ERP software for tax reporting.
