Tax & Treasury Executive

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Tax & Treasury Executive with retail industry experience to oversee tax compliance, banking operations, cash‑flow monitoring, and treasury activities. The role ensures adherence to Pakistani tax laws, maintains strong banking relationships, and supports efficient financial processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage income tax, sales tax, withholding tax and other statutory filings, ensuring timely submission of monthly, quarterly and annual returns.
• Maintain accurate tax records, reconcile tax‑related accounts and coordinate with consultants, auditors, banks and regulators.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and implement necessary compliance measures.
• Handle daily banking transactions, fund transfers, payment processing and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare cash‑position reports, monitor liquidity and support working‑capital management.
• Reconcile POS, online payment gateway and bank receipts from retail stores.
• Prepare tax, treasury and banking reports for management review.
• Assist internal, external and tax audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in taxation and treasury functions, preferably within the retail sector.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax laws, banking operations and treasury management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
