Taxation Executive

About the role

The Taxation Executive will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day tax compliance for Bread Chef’s bakery and restaurant operations in Peshawar. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate preparation, review and filing of sales tax, income tax and other statutory returns.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file sales tax, income tax and other statutory returns on time.
• Maintain accurate tax records and reconcile tax‑related accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Pakistani tax laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal finance and operations teams on tax matters.
• Respond to tax queries, notices and support audits or inspections by tax authorities.
• Assist in tax planning, identify potential risks and recommend process improvements.
• Help implement best practices to support the company’s growth.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Pakistani taxation laws, including sales tax, income tax and withholding tax.
• Proficiency in accounting and finance principles with experience in ledger management, reconciliations and financial documentation.
• Ability to use accounting and tax‑related software.
• Effective analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field; professional certifications (e.g., Part‑Qualified CA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in taxation or corporate finance, preferably within retail, hospitality or a multi‑branch business environment.
• Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
