Team Lead – Compliance Operations (RCU)

About the role

The Team Lead for RCU.MGN will oversee reconciliation, control activities and regulatory compliance for the bank. You will manage critical systems such as Fircosoft and UAEFTS, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and within agreed turnaround times.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control reconciliation processes and daily control checklists (DCFC).
• Handle and supervise Fircosoft/UAEFTS systems, including referrals and message releases.
• Process all inbound and outbound transactions with zero error, adhering to bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with anti‑money‑laundering regulations and other regulatory requirements of the bank and authorities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Swift, Mashreq processes and related banking systems.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in a checker or control role.
• Strong understanding of general banking, cheque payments, inward/outward payments and AML environments.
• Ability to interpret banking regulations, laws and anti‑money‑laundering policies across multiple jurisdictions.
