Team Lead – Verification Operations

About the role

Good Hire Global is seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee its verification operations in Karachi. The role will manage a team responsible for background screening, document verification and identity checks, ensuring high accuracy, timely delivery and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a verification team handling employment, education, criminal record and reference checks.
• Design, document and maintain verification workflows, checklists and quality‑control processes to meet service level agreements.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, coach team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance in the collection, storage and sharing of candidate information.
• Coordinate with HR consultants and client representatives to clarify verification scope, resolve discrepancies and escalate critical issues.
• Prepare and present verification reports, dashboards and exception summaries for management and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience supervising verification, background screening or related operations in an HR services environment.
• Strong knowledge of verification methods including employment, education, identity, criminal and reference checks.
• Familiarity with Pakistani data‑privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven team‑leadership skills: task assignment, coaching, performance management and quality assurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for client interaction and report preparation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for dashboard and exception report creation.
• Experience with verification software or applicant tracking systems (preferred).
