Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) leads the delivery of technical projects across a diverse client base, covering onboarding, migrations, infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, and off‑boarding. This hands‑on role works closely with engineers and requires a solid understanding of IT infrastructure to plan, de‑risk, and execute projects with precision.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between delivery/engineering teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Define project scope, schedule, budget, and maintain detailed documentation using Jira or equivalent tools.
• Track hours, costs, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate internal engineers and third‑party vendors to meet project objectives.
• Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes through approved change‑control processes.
• Lead technical projects such as infrastructure upgrades, platform migrations, hardware refreshes, and software deployments.
• Maintain knowledge of each client’s technology stack to manage change windows, cut‑over plans, and rollback procedures.
• Own end‑to‑end client off‑boarding, ensuring secure hardware return, access revocation, data transfer, and audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical projects in an IT environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into clear project plans.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
