Technical Support Engineering Manager

About the role

Overjet, the world‑leader in dental AI, is seeking a hands‑on manager to scale its Support Engineering function. You will lead a team that resolves complex technical issues across AI‑driven diagnostic and revenue‑cycle products while shaping processes from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 9 Technical Support Engineers, setting high standards for technical depth and customer impact.
• Own SLA performance, design AI‑assisted triage tools, and create repeatable playbooks for different product segments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Customer Success and onboarding teams to ensure smooth escalation handling and represent the customer voice.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of people‑management experience in technical support, support engineering or field engineering.
• Comfortable diving into logs, integration failures and sensor debugging while building credibility with engineers.
• Proven ability to lead a team through high‑stakes incidents and improve processes.
• Strong cross‑functional instincts and clear, direct communication style.

Required skills

• Log analysis and troubleshooting of integration and sensor issues.
• Experience with AI‑assisted triage tools, such as Intercom Fin agents or LLM‑based debugging assistants.
• Familiarity with hardware‑oriented support for regulated products (preferred).
