Technician – Tannery & Manufacturing

About the role

Royal Leather Industries is seeking a full‑time Technician to support daily operations in its tannery and manufacturing facilities located in Shekhupura. The role involves operating and monitoring equipment, handling leather materials, and ensuring production runs smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor tannery and manufacturing machinery according to production specifications.
• Handle, process, and store leather hides and finished goods.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety, chemical handling, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with quality checks on leather and finished products.
• Report equipment or process issues promptly to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, maintenance activities, and production data.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical problems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery in a manufacturing or tannery environment.
• Knowledge of production processes, material handling, and quality control practices, preferably related to leather.
• Understanding of workplace safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
• Technical diploma or certification in mechanical, industrial, or process technology is preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Shekhupura, with flexibility for shift‑based schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clear documentation.
