Teka Detailer – Steel Structure Drafting

About the role

The Teka Detailer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kasur, responsible for preparing detailed drawings and documentation for steel structures and related components.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering designs and create precise shop and erection drawings.
• Coordinate with design engineers, production teams and project managers to clarify requirements and resolve drawing issues.
• Review drawings for accuracy, check material lists and connection details, and update documentation as changes occur.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, structural engineering, drafting or a related field.
• Prior experience as a detailer in steel structures or pre‑engineered buildings is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD or detailing software for producing shop and erection drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and mechanical engineering plans, specifications and standards.
• Basic understanding of steel fabrication processes, construction methods and quality‑control practices.
