About the role
The Civil Engineer will lead the maintenance department, ensuring facilities are well‑maintained, projects stay on schedule, and safety standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department and manage duty rosters.
- Inspect facilities, develop weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to technicians and tradesmen.
- Supervise installations, repairs, and maintenance of building systems including civil works, heating and ventilation.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and budgeting for the maintenance team.
- Lead safety inspections, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and respond to maintenance requests.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of post‑qualification experience in construction, repair & maintenance or facility management.
- BS/BE in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution; PEC registration preferred.
