Telecommunications Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join a leading global telecom provider on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining voice and data communication networks for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise VoIP, SIP and PSTN networks.
• Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure alongside cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues and ensure high availability.
• Configure and manage telecommunications hardware such as routers, switches and gateways.
• Document network configurations, policies and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing and switching concepts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network problems.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non‑technical teams.
