Telecommunications Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join a global leader in the telecom industry on a contract basis. This fully remote position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced communication networks for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimise VoIP, SIP and PSTN networks.
• Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues and ensure high availability.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, gateways and related hardware.
• Document configurations, policies and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
