Ticketing Officer

About the role

The Ticketing Officer will work full‑time on‑site in Rawalpindi, handling daily ticketing operations for both domestic and international travel. You will issue and re‑issue air tickets, manage reservations and fare quotations, and ensure accurate travel documentation for corporate and leisure clients.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, re‑issue and amend air tickets using GDS and airline booking systems.
• Provide professional customer service, advising clients on travel options, schedules and airline policies.
• Coordinate with airlines and suppliers for bookings, changes and refunds.
• Maintain organized records, process payments securely and support colleagues to deliver smooth travel experiences.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a travel agency, airline or tourism‑related role (preferred).
• Relevant diploma or certification in travel, tourism or hospitality; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple bookings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo.
• Understanding of fare rules, ticketing procedures and basic IATA codes.
• Competence in office productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or booking management software).
