Ultrasound Service Engineer (Ultrasound Experience Mandatory)

About the role

BIOS, a medical equipment supplier serving Pakistan's healthcare sector since 1996, is hiring a Customer Success Engineer for its Ultrasound Team in Karachi. The engineer installs, commissions, maintains and troubleshoots ultrasound imaging systems so they run accurately and without interruption at customer sites, working directly with clinical users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission ultrasound systems according to company and OEM standards, verify site readiness, test and calibrate before handover, and obtain customer sign-off.
• Diagnose and fix hardware, software and signal faults, imaging quality issues such as artefacts and resolution loss, and probe/transducer problems; escalate complex issues to principals or OEMs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on schedule and carry out corrective maintenance to restore functionality with minimal downtime.
• Support radiologists, sonographers and hospital staff, give basic operational guidance and user training, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Record service activities, complaints and resolutions in the company CRM/Slack systems, maintain installation reports, maintenance records and service logs, and track probe history, repairs and replacements.
• Coordinate internally with other teams and liaise with principals and OEMs on technical support, spare parts and updates.

Required profile

• 3 years or more of experience on ultrasound machines, which is mandatory.
• Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of ultrasound systems, imaging principles and electronics.
• Proficiency in system-level troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Effective communication and customer handling skills.
