Unit Head – Corporate Trade Unit

About the role

The Bank of Punjab is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Corporate Trade Unit in Sialkot. This senior position oversees all trade‑related operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while supporting the bank’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise all functional operations of the Trade Processing Center (TPC) to achieve 100% compliance with bank policies and SBP regulations.
• Liaise with other branches to manage import, export, and letters of guarantee (LG) trade business.
• Implement controls to prevent income leakage and avoid penal actions from the State Bank of Pakistan.
• Prepare and submit accurate trade‑related reports to regulatory bodies, especially SBP.
• Maintain strong audit scores by addressing internal and external audit findings promptly.
• Oversee RAS approvals, GL reconciliation, and balancing for import/export/LG transactions.
• Handle legal, FIA, and regulatory issues related to trade operations.
• Monitor and control financing for import and export activities.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC‑recognized university.
• At least 9 years of experience in banking or non‑banking environments.
• Age not exceeding 55 years as of July 23, 2026.
