Unit Production Manager

About the role

L’Oréal is looking for a Unit Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Lahore/Sheikhupura. You will be responsible for safety, efficiency and quality while overseeing large, multi‑shift teams in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Steer end‑to‑end production to meet targets for service, quality and cost, ensuring schedule attainment and operational stability across all lines.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and asset reliability programs, coordinating with OEMs and technical partners to minimise downtime.
• Implement continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Lean, TPM and 5S to boost OEE, reduce waste and optimise capacity.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX proposals, drive cost‑saving initiatives and maintain strict financial discipline.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Significant experience in production operations, preferably in FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑shift teams and achieve operational targets.
• Hands‑on experience improving equipment reliability and coordinating maintenance.
• Track record of applying Lean, TPM or similar methodologies.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen for performance analysis and budget management.
