About the role
Comet Tech, a Karachi‑based software development firm, is looking for an Upwork Proposal Writer to drive international sales for web development, UI/UX, CMS and custom software projects. This full‑time position works onsite at NIPA Chorangi with evening hours.
Key responsibilities
- Research target clients and projects on Upwork and similar platforms to identify high‑fit opportunities.
- Craft clear, compelling, and customized proposals and cover letters that match Comet Tech’s capabilities to client needs.
- Develop reusable proposal templates, case‑study snippets, pricing breakdowns and technical summaries.
- Collaborate with developers, designers and project managers to gather accurate technical details, timelines and estimates.
- Translate technical requirements into scoped milestones and pricing options.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, track follow‑ups and maintain opportunity records.
- Qualify clients and tailor messaging by industry.
Required profile
- Students or fresh graduates in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, BBA, Marketing, English or related fields.
- Strong English writing and communication skills.
- Entry‑level interest in proposal writing, sales and client communication.
- Available to work onsite from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM and commute to NIPA Chorangi, Karachi.
