Utilities Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

The Utilities Manager will lead the operation and maintenance of all utility systems at the Multan plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective service. This role is responsible for minimizing unscheduled downtime, managing utility costs, and maintaining compliance with AIB and GEHSMS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe utility operations in line with AIB and GEHSMS mandates.
• Achieve and monitor Unscheduled & Planned Downtime (USDT, PDT) KPIs.
• Develop and coach the utilities team to improve MTTR, MTBF, and USDT metrics.
• Generate work orders for equipment issues, track MTTR & MTBF, and report technician utilization.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare monthly AOP & LE of utilities cost and ensure >95% preventive‑maintenance compliance.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety standards, and valid legal permits for utility areas.
• Support cross‑functional teams on quality and HSE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in FMCG utilities management.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.

• Electrical, mechanical and chemical utility systems.
• Preventive and condition‑based maintenance planning.
• Root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Utility cost management (natural gas, electricity, LPG, diesel).
• Compliance with AIB and GEHSMS standards.
