Video Editor & Sound Designer (Mobile Games)

About the role

A mobile game development team in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad is looking for a creative Video Editor & Sound Designer. The role covers video editing, motion graphics, sound effects and audio production, with a focus on producing engaging content for mobile games. It is a full-time, on-site position requiring 1-3 years of experience, with mobile gaming experience preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Create mobile game ads, gameplay videos and promotional trailers, including hooks and multiple ad variations for user acquisition campaigns.
• Develop video creatives for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Google Ads, optimized for each platform and aspect ratio.
• Produce motion graphics, visual effects, transitions and animations in Adobe After Effects, and edit gameplay and marketing videos in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Design sound effects (SFX) for mobile games, including UI sounds, button clicks, rewards, power-ups, character sounds and gameplay effects.
• Produce and edit background music, ambient audio and soundtracks, and synchronize them with gameplay videos and animations.
• Use a DAW for audio editing, mixing and mastering, and optimize audio assets for mobile game performance and Unity integration.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong video editing, motion graphics and sound design skills.
• Good understanding of mobile gaming trends and advertising creatives.
• Ability to create original, engaging video and audio content, and to manage several creative projects and meet deadlines.
• Preferred: experience making high-performing mobile game ads and familiarity with casual, hyper-casual, simulation and action games.
