VoIP & Core Network Engineer (Presales & Support)

About the role

We are seeking a VoIP & Core Network Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. The role combines presales consultancy with hands‑on technical support, focusing on enterprise voice and networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise VoIP and unified communication solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot SIP signaling, SIP trunking, SBCs, and PBX/UCaaS environments.
• Provide technical presales support, including solution design and customer consultations.
• Deploy networking and VoIP solutions for enterprise clients.
• Deliver Tier‑3 technical support and resolve complex networking and voice issues.
• Analyze network and VoIP problems using Wireshark and sngrep.
• Configure and support Layer 2/Layer 3 switching and routing.
• Ensure QoS optimization for voice traffic.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in VoIP and core networking.
• Strong understanding of SIP signaling, SBCs, SIP trunking, and PBX/UCaaS platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with BGP, OSPF, Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching, and QoS for voice.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting with Wireshark and sngrep.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and client‑facing communication skills.
