Warehouse Manager - Pharmaceutical

About the role

A pharmaceutical company is hiring a Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehousing operations, covering raw materials, packaging materials, domestic distribution and export. The role ensures efficient operations, accurate inventory, regulatory compliance and adherence to company SOPs, requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch operations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliation and inventory controls.
• Maintain FEFO/FIFO compliance and inventory traceability.
• Drive warehouse automation, digitalization and continuous improvement.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and optimise capacity, storage utilisation and layouts.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, GSP and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage quarantine, returned, damaged and expired inventory.
• Coordinate with QA, production, procurement, supply chain and logistics teams.
• Lead, train and develop warehouse teams, manage performance and shifts.
• Maintain safety, security, housekeeping and equipment reliability, and ensure timely order fulfilment.

Required profile

• MBA or equivalent qualification.
• 6-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehousing and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, GSP, pharmaceutical inventory management, FEFO/FIFO and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with WMS, warehouse operations and data analysis.
• Understanding of cold chain management and product traceability.
• Leadership, planning, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
