Account Representative – Telecom Industry (Defense Focus)

About the role

The Account Representative will drive enterprise sales of Huawei telecom solutions for defence‑related organisations. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior officials, shaping ICT strategies and expanding business within government and military accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Engage mid‑to‑senior level clients in defence, military hospitals, universities and related enterprises using a consultative sales approach.
• Develop differentiated sales strategies for military‑affiliated sectors and lead industry‑specific solution design.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver Huawei product portfolios, ICT integration services and multi‑scenario applications.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, manage large government procurements, participate in tenders and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with Directors, CIOs, IT Heads and other senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in telecom or ICT solutions.
• Proven track record with government procurement and tender management.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with senior officials in defence and public sector organisations.
• Ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into ICT opportunities.
