Accountant – Bookkeeping, Tax & Payroll

About the role

Transit Solutions is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Accountant in Lahore to manage bookkeeping, tax compliance, and payroll for its fast‑paced logistics operations. You will ensure accurate financial records, support audits, and provide insights that help the business run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Process payroll on schedule, handling statutory deductions and filings.
• Reconcile accounts and produce periodic financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Analyse financial data to assist budgeting, forecasting, and management decision‑making.
• Collaborate closely with operations and management teams to track logistics‑related financial activity.

Required profile

• Strong accounting background with experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA) is a plus.
• Relevant experience in a logistics or service‑oriented environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
