Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing petty cash, and supporting audit cycles while ensuring compliance with internal approvals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and special management reports.
• Manage petty cash and fund approvals, record receipts and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and month‑end closing activities.
• Witness bank withdrawals alongside authorized signatories.
• Process expense statements for approved projects and tasks.
• Ensure invoices are signed and filed correctly.
• Handle purchase of goods and services for daily operations.
• Support ad‑hoc assignments from management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• 3‑4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a complex environment.
