Accountant

About the role

AHOY is looking for a dedicated Accountant to join its finance team and help maintain the company's financial integrity. You will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards and contribute to accurate reporting of financial activities. Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports and records.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analyses.
• Conduct regular audits to check compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning and compliance.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit.
• Help improve accounting processes and implement best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
