Accountant – Wallpaper Showroom (Lahore)

About the role

The company, a premium wall‑coverings and interior‑decor business, is looking for an Accountant to manage all financial operations of its Lahore showroom. The role combines bookkeeping, billing, inventory costing and financial reporting in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP, Tally), including daily sales invoices, cash receipts, online payments and purchase entries.
• Generate customer invoices for showroom sales and project installations, coordinate with the sales team on rates and discounts, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Manage inventory accounting for wallpaper rolls, accessories and consumables, conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Verify supplier invoices and goods‑received notes, prepare payment schedules and maintain relationships with local and international vendors.
• Process payroll for the installation team, handle attendance, advances, overtime and commission records.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, profit & loss statements and expense analyses for management.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (GST/Sales Tax), maintain audit‑ready documentation and support filing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or interior‑decor businesses.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation and inventory‑based accounting.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
