Accounting and Finance Manager – FMCG

About the role

Mellori, a new premium FMCG brand, is seeking a diligent Accounting and Finance Manager to support its financial operations in Karachi. The role focuses on accurate record‑keeping, regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Utilise QuickBooks and Peachtree for general ledger entries and reporting.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit and management review.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting and financial planning.
• Implement and monitor financial policies to improve accountability.
• Provide detailed performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of finance/accounting experience in the FMCG sector.
• Part‑qualified CA, ACCA, ICMA, or MBA Finance.
• Strong attention to detail and high integrity.
