Accounting and Finance Officer

About the role

Profyd, an education support company based in Pakistan, is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical person for an accounting and finance position in Lahore. The role covers managing financial records, monitoring transactions, maintaining compliance and supporting financial planning and operational reporting. It is a full-time, day-shift, onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions, bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and payment reconciliations.
• Prepare invoices, expense reports and monthly financial summaries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Process payroll records and maintain salary documentation.
• Track student payments, outstanding balances and collection reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and audit-ready documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
• Coordinate with operations, sales and support teams on financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll and financial reporting.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail and analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information and strong communication and reporting abilities.
