Accounting Manager – Remote

About the role

Translation Empire is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead all accounting, payroll, taxation and expense management functions. The role is fully remote and requires coordination with senior management to ensure timely payment approvals and compliance with UK and Pakistani regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and oversee the preparation of UK VAT returns and annual accounts.
• Prepare corporate and income tax computations and provide tax planning strategies.
• Support management in budget preparation, cash‑flow monitoring and reserve protection.
• Audit financial information for inconsistencies and ensure compliance with FBR and UK laws.
• Draft correspondence, letters and emails for internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver monthly accounting deliverables on schedule and maintain financial records using various accounting software.
• Perform year‑end adjustments such as accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation and deferred income.

Required profile

• B.Com/BSc/M.Com/MBA/MSc in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ATT.
• Proven experience in a UK‑based accounting firm.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Preparation of UK VAT returns.
• Financial analysis tools and techniques.
