CA Article Trainee (ICAP TOoP)

About the role

MayaTax, an ICAP-approved training employer under the Training Organization Outside Practice (TOoP) scheme, offers CA students the chance to complete their articles while working with international clients and gaining practical exposure to global accounting practices. Article trainees join professional teams supporting international client engagements and learn international accounting frameworks and financial reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements for international clients.
• Support accounting work under US GAAP and IFRS frameworks.
• Work on engagements across industries such as real estate, hospitality and US taxation.
• Help senior team members with financial reporting, bookkeeping and compliance assignments.
• Take part in internal training programmes for professional development.

Required profile

• Completed the CAF module of Chartered Accountancy.
• Eligible to start articles under ICAP TOoP guidelines (e.g. CAF-qualified CA students).
• Fully comfortable working onsite in a night shift.
• High energy and a sharp eye for detail in a fast-paced BPO environment.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal English for working with international stakeholders.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
