Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

About the role

Mohsyn is hiring a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in Islamabad, reporting to the CEO/CFO. The role goes beyond reporting numbers: it connects financial data with the bigger picture, builds scenarios and turns numbers into insights that help leadership decide where to invest and grow. As the company scales, you will help build its financial models, reporting rhythms and planning discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-term projections.
• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, headcount, growth assumptions and capital requirements.
• Track actuals against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances and recommend actions to the CEO/CFO.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity models for strategic decisions, investments and market changes.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, burn rate and runway, and support fundraising rounds with capital requirement analysis, valuation support and fundraising scenarios.
• Prepare investor-ready models, narratives, presentations, data rooms and due-diligence materials, and support investor relations and equity/capitalisation management.
• Evaluate business cases, investments, pricing and expansion opportunities from a financial and commercial perspective.
• Build management dashboards and reporting, partner with Accounting on accuracy and help set stronger financial controls and reporting standards.

Required profile

• 3-6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, venture-backed businesses or a similar finance role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline; ACCA, CA, CFA, MBA Finance or a similar qualification is a strong plus.
• Nice to have: fundraising, VC, PE or investor relations exposure, valuation and cap-table knowledge, startup or high-growth company experience, and board-pack or pitch-deck preparation.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets, able to build models from scratch.
• Understanding of the three financial statements and their link to the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and in a primarily remote environment.
