Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage outstanding accounts receivable, monitor aging reports, follow up on unpaid claims, and resolve payment discrepancies with insurers and patients. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Islamabad and works closely with billing and denial management teams to improve cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor aging reports and track unpaid claims.
• Post payments accurately and reconcile patient and insurer account balances.
• Document interactions and maintain up‑to‑date records in billing systems.
• Prepare reports on collection status and support process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Strong accounts receivable and medical billing experience, including AR follow‑up and payment posting.
• Experience with claims submission, denial and rejection management, and basic insurance verification.
• Analytical ability to interpret aging reports and identify trends.
• Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with patients, providers, and payers.
• Relevant experience in healthcare RCM, especially mental health or behavioral health practices, is a plus.
