AI Automation Developer

About the role

SyncRise AI is looking for an AI Automation Developer to design, build, and maintain AI‑driven automation systems for home‑service clients. You will work on conversational AI agents, lead‑nurture sequences, and platform integrations, primarily using Newo.ai.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain AI receptionist workflows and missed‑call/text‑back automations.
• Craft and iterate prompts for AI agents handling real customer conversations.
• Create SMS and email lead‑nurture sequences triggered by client actions.
• Integrate Newo.ai agents with external tools (GoHighLevel, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber) via REST APIs.
• Implement Jinja2 templating for dynamic messaging and conditional logic.
• Work with event‑driven webhooks, triggers, and asynchronous workflows.
• Debug APIs, monitor logs, and follow version‑control and production‑deployment best practices.
• Produce client‑facing documentation and collaborate across teams, ensuring at least 4 hours daily overlap with US PDT.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in automation development or API integration.
• Strong Python programming skills with clean, documented code.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and handling JSON.
• Experience in prompt engineering for conversational AI.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Jinja2 templating.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures (webhooks, async workflows).
• Experience with GoHighLevel or Twilio automation pipelines.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Excellent English communication and client‑facing documentation skills.
