AI Data Scraper

About the role

The AI Data Scraper is a full‑time remote position focused on designing, building, and maintaining automated pipelines that collect data from a variety of online sources. You will ensure that the harvested data is clean, structured, and ready for AI and analytics applications.

Key responsibilities

• Identify relevant web sources and APIs for data extraction.
• Develop and optimise scraping scripts using Python libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
• Monitor scraping processes for reliability and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to align data collection with project needs.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and modelling.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills for handling data quality and scraping challenges.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Web‑scraping libraries (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium or similar).
• SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Basic ETL concepts.
• Understanding of data privacy and ethical data use.
