AI/ML Engineer

About the role

Infotech is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to embed advanced AI capabilities into its software suite. The role involves designing, building, and deploying AI‑powered features across on‑premises infrastructure and Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement natural‑language interaction features for product data.
• Develop agentic AI systems that can plan, use tools, and execute multi‑step tasks.
• Take models from prototype to production in both on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data preparation, model selection/fine‑tuning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to integrate AI features into live products.
• Build secure, auditable systems that meet enterprise compliance requirements.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production.
• Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML/LLM frameworks.
• Practical experience with large language models, including prompting, retrieval‑augmented generation, fine‑tuning, or agentic workflows.
• Comfortable working across on‑premises infrastructure and Azure cloud.
• Solid understanding of ML evaluation practices and production monitoring.
• Experience with containerization, orchestration tools, and production APIs or services.
