Application Monitor Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Application Monitor Developer to join our team in Karachi. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications while ensuring optimal performance through advanced monitoring tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support custom applications using ASP.NET or Java.
• Implement front‑end features with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Dojo, or AngularJS.
• Configure and manage application performance monitoring using Cisco AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
• Monitor application availability, performance, user experience, and dependencies across the enterprise.
• Analyze real‑user monitoring data, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve performance issues.
• Conduct log analysis to detect and fix operational problems.
• Review, tune, and optimize SQL Server queries and monitor database health.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and operations teams to improve reliability.
• Support proactive alert management and continuous performance improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong programming experience in ASP.NET or Java.
• Hands‑on experience with APM tools, especially Cisco AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with enterprise‑scale applications in telecom or financial sectors is preferred.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks (jQuery, Dojo, AngularJS).
• Solid understanding of SQL Server, query optimization, and database performance monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, analyze logs, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and version‑control systems.
