AR and Collection Intern

About the role

TimeClock Plus is looking for a motivated AR and Collection Intern to support its Accounts Receivable team. This internship offers practical experience in managing customer accounts, collections, and related AR functions within a fast‑growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone with professionalism and timeliness.
• Maintain and follow up on a list of overdue customer balances.
• Issue and review customer statements to ensure account accuracy.
• Assist in creating AR invoices and act as backup for the billing specialist.
• Collaborate with team members to align AR and collection processes with organizational needs.
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as system upgrades and integration of new acquisitions.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), preferably in Accounting.
• Basic understanding of accounts receivable and collection processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact across organizational levels.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic functions.
