Architect / Lead Developer (AI Healthcare Platform)

About the role

CodeByte is building the world’s first clinically intelligent, end‑to‑end AI platform that unifies patient engagement, provider workflows, and medical intelligence at scale. As an Architect / Lead Developer you will own the technical direction and delivery of major platform capabilities for both patient‑facing and provider‑facing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the system architecture for a scalable AI‑enabled healthcare platform.
• Design and implement REST and/or GraphQL APIs, background jobs, queues, and caching strategies.
• Guide engineering teams, enforce best practices, and improve engineering velocity and code quality.
• Ensure high standards of performance, security, reliability, and compliance with healthcare data regulations.
• Hands‑on development using TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js, with a focus on cloud‑native deployment.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role (Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or Architect).
• 2+ years shipping ML/AI‑enabled products.
• Proven experience designing scalable web architectures and multi‑tenant SaaS platforms.
• Track record of improving engineering velocity and code quality.
