Architectural Project Lead – Construction

About the role

BPO Impact is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural design, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination for U.S.-based projects while working from our Lahore office. You will manage the full design process from concept to permit‑ready drawings, collaborate with structural and MEP teams, and act as the primary client liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, wall sections, construction details, site and roof plans, and door & window schedules.
• Produce permit‑ready construction documents for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with U.S. building codes, zoning, ADA, and local regulations.
• Coordinate BIM models with structural and MEP disciplines, resolve conflicts, and review models for constructability and accuracy.
• Present design solutions to U.S. architects, contractors, developers, and project managers, incorporating feedback during virtual meetings.
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior architects and CAD technicians, establishing drafting standards and quality‑control procedures.
• Maintain drawing consistency across projects and recommend improvements to BIM workflows and documentation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 6 years of professional architectural experience.
• Proven experience delivering U.S.-based architectural projects.
• Strong knowledge of International Building Code (IBC), ADA Accessibility Standards, CSI MasterFormat, IRC, and local permitting requirements.
