Area Sales Manager – Life Insurance & Takaful

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Karachi. The role focuses on driving growth for life insurance and family takaful products across the assigned territory, ensuring targets are met and customer relationships are strengthened.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for the designated area.
• Lead, coach and motivate a field sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
• Monitor performance metrics, prepare sales forecasts and reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and distributors.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within insurance, takaful or financial services.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Solid analytical and planning capabilities, including territory management and sales forecasting.
• Good understanding of life insurance and family takaful products and the Pakistani market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Karachi and conduct regular field visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM systems and basic sales reporting tools.
